As we begin to plan for the 2017 projects, we are delighted to welcome a new team member.
Viv Price has already begun her new role for Libra - going into schools, colleges and universities to recruit young volunteers.
She will also oversee training for the volunteers in areas such as the history and culture of Romania, project location information, child development, working with children with additional needs, activity and theme preperation, and fundraising.Lessons are also available to learn the basic Romanian language.
Viv will also be supporting the volunteers throughout their trip to Romania next year and at the end of the projects she will help them to evaluate and recognise what they have learnt.
Student volunteers will experience a very different culture, increase their confidence and self-esteem, learn a new language and make a positive difference to the world - while satisfying their taste for adventure.

The Onesti Camp team enjoying the peace and quiet in a very beautiful part of the world. And then they had to do a bit of "gazebo assembling" and activity preparation! Well done to all of you!Jul 9th
In preparation! Adrian Woodroffe has been helping to carry car loads of food and equipment to the projects and has generously assisted with taxi runs all around the County of Bacau and beyond; we are so very grateful to him for his support! We were delighted to be greeted by Maricica, the caretaker on the Onesti Camp project who once again has prepared the school beautifully and (reluctantly!) handed over various sets of keys! The Moinesti leadership team arrived in good time for the training this morning and were absolutely delighted to see the beneficiaries ready and waiting! The final photo is a taste of the activities prepared for tomorrow! Libra are here at last!
